Pumpkin Spice Is Back, Here are Our Favorite Fall Camping Snacks

Summer may still be going strong, but fans of all things fall are rejoicing as we get closer and closer to the autumn season. Today, Starbucks brought back its most famous seasonal drink, the Pumpkin Spice Latte. If you need to run to your local Starbies to grab your first PSL of the season, don’t worry, we’ll wait.

Grabbing a Pumpkin Spice Latte before heading to the trails is a great way to start a day full of outdoor adventure, but what if you’re camping? You don’t want to leave camp to go grab a PSL every morning. So if you’re going on a multi-day camping trip, pick up some pumpkin spice ground coffee from your local grocery store or wherever you buy your coffee grounds.

Now that we’ve covered your favorite fall beverage, you might be wondering what other great fall snacks and meals you can bring to the campsite or hiking trails with you. Here are some of our favorites.

Some people love their coffee but have a lot of feelings about where it comes from (Starbucks vs. Dunkin Donuts, for instance), and if you aren’t a Starbucks fan, LAIRD makes an Instant Pumpkin Spice Latte mix that’s perfect to bring to the campsite with you. Another fall favorite to pick up before heading to camp is a spiced cider mix, especially if you’re looking to ditch the caffeine but love the feeling of a nice, warm beverage to start or end your day.

Snacks and drinks are great ways to get in the fall mood, but what about full meals? GOOD-TO-GO is offering a shelf-stable, vegan, gluten-free hash that will make for a delicious breakfast or side dish. PEAK REFUEL has a butternut dal bhat for two people made with Nepali flavors. And of course, Patagonia Provisions makes a hearty black-bean soup with corn that’s perfect for autumn and warming your heart and extremities on a cold fall day.
